Change of CEO in Maritime Communications Partner (MCP)
As recently announced by Telenor, Pål Bjørdal has been appointed as new CEO of the Telenor’s subsidiary AeroMobile from September 1.

Current MCP Director of Strategy, Alf S. Aanonsen, will take on the position as acting CEO of MCP as from the same date, ensuring business continuity while the position is posted.

Aanonsen has extensive operational management experience within MCP, which he joined since the start in 2002. He worked 13 years for Ericsson before joining MCP, within product-, project- and sales management.
Aanonsen holds an MSc degree within Computer Science from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH), a Master of Management from the BI Norwegian School of Management, and a Bachelor degree within Economics also from BI.

MCP ANNOUNCE A NEW LONG TERM AGREEMENT FOR 5 NORTH AFRICAN FERRIES

Arendal, March 24, 2010.             Maritime Communications Partner announce a new long term agreement for the operation of its sophisticated GSM system and services.The agreement covers 3 ferries belonging to the Algerian Ferry operator L’Enterprise Nationale deTransport Maritime de Voyageurs ’ENTMV’ and 2 ferries belonging to the Tunisian Ferry operator La Compagnie Tunisiene De Navigation ’CTN’.  Both companies are operating routes between North Africa and Southern Europe. The 5 vessels will be set in operation in Q2 2010.
